Mitch Harrison

Mitch Harrison is a video producer and photographer working in broadcast TV and film production. He began his career shooting tabletop products and corporate portraitures, then changed directions and became thoroughly entrenched in feature films, documentaries and TV commercial production before returning to his passion for photography. His work has been showcased in photo galleries and art festivals in Toronto and has been featured in the British magazine, Practical Photography.

"I found my niche in photography. I’m astonished at how the original ’raw’ image can be dramatically altered by creating new explosive colours, adding textures and playing with light and shadow. Capturing an image through a camera lens is merely the first step in the visual evolution that then needs nurturing and a transformation before it reveals how I see the world through my mind’s eye."
